From the opening seconds of Wednesday’s match up against Bayou, it was clear the Lady Mavericks soccer team was primed for another big victory.
Senior Kristen Morris took the opening kick off down the field and scored the first of her five goals on the day as Manchester rolled to a 10-0 victory over the visiting Lady Colts.
“That’s a good day for her,” Manchester head coach Michael Morris said about Kristen Morris’ five goals. “She works hard and looks to score every time she touches the ball. When she puts her shots on goal, she’s tough to beat.”
Morris scored the first three goals for the Lady Mavs before the midway point of the first half. However, it wasn’t just a one-woman show for Manchester.
