Mavs have plenty of running backs

While they may not be as famous as Notre Dame’s famed four horsemen, the Manchester Academy stable of running backs is full and were on full display last Friday night as the Mavericks notched their second win of the season against Sylva Bay, 28-26.
In all, Manchester has six players (one being the quarterback) with the ability to break off long runs on the ground. Before the season even began three short weeks ago, everyone knew Daniel Tarver had the ability to drag defenders 20 yards downfield and Demarcus Mahone had Barry Sanders-type ability.
