A Yazoo County man has been charged with aggravated assault after shooting another man with a shotgun Sunday.
Randell Wade Whitworth, 38, was arrested after an altercation allegedly led to him shooting another man.
“They got into an altercation at a residence, and the victim left,” said Sheriff Thomas Vaughan. “They met off of Highway 16 to settle the matter, and the suspect drew a shotgun and fired.
