Frank Webb often tries to sneak a piece of candy or two to children while they wander around Webb’s Pharmacy.
He gets away with it a few times, but every now and then a Momma won’t allow it.
“I always tell them, ‘when you were that age, you got it,’” he smiled.
It’s those kind of memories that Frank enjoys looking back on with the history of his family’s pharmacy on Main Street.
“I have seen mothers bring in their babies,” he said. ‘Now those babies are bringing their own in here.”
Webb’s Pharmacy belongs on Main Street in downtown Yazoo. It just wouldn’t seem right without seeing the pharmacy’s sign on the right side of the road.
Since the 1880s, the business has offered its services with a dash of downhome friendliness. It has and always will be a family business with people who care about Yazoo. -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
