Two Yazoo County incumbent candidates were defeated in their re-election bids in Tuesday’s runoff.
Circuit Clerk Susie Bradshaw was defeated by Robert Coleman in the Democratic primary. District 1 Supervisor Van Foster was also defeated by Caleb Rivers in that same primary runoff.
Voter turnout was very low Tuesday with only about 4,300 voters coming to the polls. There are about 18,000 registered voters in Yazoo County.  -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
