JOHN ALDRIDGE
John Phillip “B.A.” Aldridge, 54, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, La.
Funeral services were Tuesday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Bryant officiating. Burial followed at Central-Holmes Cemetery.
Mr. Aldridge was born March 19, 1957 in Sunflower County to Derle and Betty Love Carver Aldridge. He was a welder and a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Derle Aldridge.
Survivors include his wife, Trish Aldridge of Bentonia; daughter, Kayla Aldridge of Bentonia; mother, Betty C. Harris of Carrollton; stepfather, Garnett Harris of Carrollton; and two sisters, Robin Clark of Texarkana, Texas and Allyson Autry of Yazoo City.
Serving as pallbearers were Andy Evelsizor, Barry Gilliland, Roger Hearst, Bryan Thomas, Cecil Cantrell, Kirk Carver, Ty McCullough, Quint Carver, Bill Fitzgerald and Brian Clark.
CYNTHIA DEAL
Cynthia A. Deal, 41, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.
Visitation is Thursday from 12:30-2 p.m. at Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Funeral services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Lynch officiating.
Mrs. Deal was born April 15, 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio to Vince and Pearl Pusztai Sandor. She was a LPN at Martha Coker Green Houses and a member of Parkview Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, James Deal of Yazoo City; sons, Vince Deal and Nikolas Deal of Yazoo City; daughter, Linda Brown (Harry) of Akron, Ohio; grandson, Austin Brown of Akron, Ohio; mother, Pearl Sandor of Akron Ohio; and good friends Kim Ratcliff, Sharon Pope and Colleen Oliver.
