“Sometimes when God closes one door, he opens another one,” Ruth Ferguson said Monday afternoon as she closed the register. “I’m just going to keep praying.”
The door Ferguson’s hoping for is one that leads to a new job. After working at Blockbuster in Yazoo City for a decade, Ferguson learned the store is closing.
