By JAMIE PATTERSON
Managing Editor

A Yazoo City inmate who escaped from a police officer last week was apprehended in Jackson over the weekend.
Brandon Jernigan, 26, escaped from an officer during a trip to King’s Daughters Hospital last Wednesday night. Three days later, he was apprehended in Hinds County on Saturday.
“The U.S. Marshals picked him up in Jackson, and he is currently in the Hinds County Detention Center,” said Maj. Larry Davis. “When they are done with him, we will pick him and bring him back.” -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
