Yazoo inmate remains at large after escape

A Yazoo City inmate escaped from a police officer after a trip to the local hospital this week.
As of press time, inmate Brandon Jernigan, 26, remained at large in the city.
Chief Eric Snow said there is an ongoing investigation as to what happened with the escape.
