Mississippi youth invited to join the fun at “Camp Fish” in Tupelo

The Yazoo Herald

Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has partnered with the Mississippi Bass Federation to host “Camp Fish” on July 18-21 at the Private John Allen National Fish Hatchery in Tupelo.
The camp’s goal is to provide opportunities, skills, and resources to introduce Mississippi youth to the sport of fishing.
Some of the topics covered during the 4-day camp are fish identification, choosing fishing tackle and lures, casting techniques, fish aging, types of boats, and conservation techniques.
