Traffic stops while patrolling the county resulted in three drug arrests for the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department last week.
Patrick Nelson, 26, of 3410 Fletcher’s Chapel Road and Ruby Patterson, 21, of 1313 Old Dover Road were both arrested after Nelson was stopped for careless driving.
Both suspects were charged with possession of schedule 1 narcotics after officers found pills in the vehicle. Patterson was also charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Justice Court Judge Pam May set bond for both suspects at $30,000.
