OFFER TO RECEIVE BIDS FOR
LEASE OF SIXTEENTH
SECTION LAND
The undersigned will receive sealed bids until 2:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011, for the following hunting leases for a period of five (5) years, beginning September 1, 2011 and ending August 31, 2016.
1. SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 9, RANGE 2 WEST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 9, Range 2 West, containing approximately 456.0 acres, currently leased to Billy  Ragland.
2. SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 9, RANGE 3 WEST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 9, Range 3 West,
containing approximately 640.0 acres, currently leased to Jim Walt.
3. SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 10, RANGE 2 EAST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 10, Range 2 East, containing approximately 583.0 acres, currently leased to Kevin Mahaffey and/or Tim Mahaffey.
4. SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 10, RANGE 2 WEST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 10, Range 2 West, containing approximately 648.0 acres, currently leased to Silver Creek Hunting Partners, LLC.
SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 11, RANGE 2 WEST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 11, Range 2 West, containing approximately 640.0 acres, currently leased to Jim Raney.
SECTION SIXTEEN, TOWNSHIP 13, RANGE 2 WEST
That portion of Sixteenth Section, Township 13, Range 2 West, containing approximately 283.0 acres, currently leased to Phillips Brothers Farm, Chat Phillips.
NOTE:    
By order of the Board of Education, advance payment of lease and certification of  Insurability will be required on all leases, due upon execution of Contract. (within fifteen days of awarding lease) 5% of bid amount will be made payable in the form of cashier’s check or money order at the time of bid. (Refundable if bid not successful)  A security deposit in the amount of 1 year’s tax will be paid at the execution of the Contract.  An $8.00 per acre minimum is required for the bid to be valid.    
The County Board of Education reserves the right to execute timber deeds; oil, gas and mineral leases; and deed for rights of way serving power, gas, telephone lines and public roads.    
All leases will be subject to the laws of Mississippi regarding the use of timber upon Sixteenth Section lands.
Lessees will be required to indemnify and hold harmless Lessor from any and all damages, claims or rights of action of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of any acts of Lessees, their agents, servants, employees, guests or invitees, in the exercise of the rights granted in said lease.  Lessee will also be required to procure general liability insurance in an amount to be determined by Lessor which will name Lessor as an insured under said policy or policies to protect Lessor from any and all damages or claims arising out of Lessees acts in the exercise of the rights granted under said lease.
Bid forms shall be secured from the Office of the County Superintendent of Education.  All bids are required to be submitted on such form.
Each bidder must satisfy the Board of Education as to his ability to comply with  the term of his bid.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.

NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, DARRELL CORK AND LATANYA J. CORK executed a deed of trust to BANK OF YAZOO CITY, which deed of trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Yazoo County, Mississippi, in Book 309B at Page 61, and
WHEREAS, BANK OF YAZOO CITY, holder of said deed of trust and the indebtedness secured thereby, substituted Wiley J. Barbour, Jr. as trustee therein by instrument dated May 3, 2011 and recorded in Book 392B at Page 331 of said records, said substitution authorized by the terms of said deed of trust; and
