Larry White’s AA Calibration Services is one of Yazoo’s greatest success stories.
Now White is hoping to share his success with others.
White is partnering with Holmes Community College to host a Basic Calibration Applications course that will prepare participants for careers in the calibration industry.
“Once they complete this program, they should be able to find job opportunities around the nation, because there is a strong demand for people in this field,” White said.
The course will begin on July 6. Applications are available at AA Calibration Services at 111 Roosevelt Hudson Drive near the Yazoo County Correctional Facility. A $100 fee, plus the cost of materials needed is required. White estimated that the cost for the needed equipment will be between $40-$50.
