Gary Andrews will retire on June 30 after serving as editor and publisher of The Yazoo Herald for nine years.
He will be succeeded by Yazoo native and current managing editor Jason Patterson, who will mark his fifth anniversary with The Herald on July 1. Herald reporter Jamie Patterson is being promoted to managing editor.
