More lakes open, Wolf Lake still closed

Under the authority of Executive Order 1053, issued by Gov. Haley Barbour the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks has re-opened the waters listed below to recreational boating and fishing.
The following lakes are now open to all fishing and boating: Chotard, Albemarle, Airplane, Tennessee Lakes in Issaquena County, Ferguson Lake in Washington County, Moon Lake in Coahoma County, Tunica Cut-off in Tunica County, Lakeview in Desoto County, Beulah and Whittington Lakes in Bolivar County, Bee Lake in Holmes County and all public waters previously closed in Claiborne, Jefferson, Adams, and Wilkinson Counties and the Mississippi and Yazoo Rivers. Commercial fishing is now open on all open public waters.
At this time, Eagle Lake in Warren County, Wolf/Broad Lake in Yazoo County remain closed to fishing and boating, as the water has yet to recede to safe levels; however, they are expected to reopen soon.
