Elsie Hampton Patterson was born May 26, 2011 to Jason and Jamie Patterson at Women’s Hospital in Flowood.
She weighed eight pounds, nine ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Maternal grandmother is Rhonda Kemp of Vicksburg.
Paternal grandparents are Belinda Patterson of Yazoo City and the late Biven “Buddy” Patterson Jr.
She is the great-granddaughter of Earlene Jackson of Natchez and the late James Jackson, Walter Richardson Sr. and Sue Richardson of Bentonia  and the late Biven B. Patterson Sr. and Elsie Patterson.
Also welcoming Elsie was her brother, James Jackson Patterson.
