Artist to host community workshop

By BRYAN DAVIS
Herald Reporter

The need for unity has never been stronger in Yazoo City, and local artist Hope Carr is attempting to bind the community together through arts and crafts.
Starting on July 14, Carr will host a three-day workshop titled, "Thou Art Inspired," a class that will allow people of all ages to create works of art based on their favorite inspirational quote or scripture.
Carr says that the idea came to her, based on a picture which hangs on her wall at home. -------for the rest of the story see The Yazoo Herald printed edition or subscribe to the Digital Edition.----------
