Mississippi College held Honors Convocation in April, recognizing the university’s top students for their academic achievements and service to the university.   
Daniel William Jones, a international studies major from Benton, was presented with the Porter/Trott Memorial Award.  
The Porter/Trott Memorial Award is a monetary award given to a senior majoring in foreign languages who has exhibited exceptional ability in this field of study.
