Yazoo County senior Deandre Scott signed a national letter of intent Thursday to play basketball at Holmes Community College in Goodman. Scott, who averaged over 18 points a game, including a season-high 40 against Greenwood, was very impressed with the coaching staff, adding he’s “excited about the whole experience”. His mother Bridgette Scott says she and the family are very proud. “I Just want the best for him and for him to accomplish all of his dreams,” she said.
