The Manchester Academy junior high and high school cheerleaders competed in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Jackson. There team, Cathy's Crew, was in honor of MA art teacher Cathy Steinriede who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the fall. The cheerleaders won the school team challenge by raising $2,800 for breast cancer research.
