Donations needed for services for the blind
John Streeter, with the Christian Record Services, recently visited Yazoo City collecting donations to fund services for the blind.
Christian Record Services is an organization that has been reaching out to the blind community since 1899. The group provides magazines in Braille, in large print and on audio cassettes; lends library materials in Braille, in large print and on audio cassettes; full-vision books; home visitation; educational assistance; civic club presentations; and National Camps for Blind Children.
The camps allow blind children to go horseback riding, skiing, swimming and other activities with other children at no cost.
