JACKSON – The Eighth Annual Cellular South Ferriss Trophy, awarded to the state’s top collegiate baseball player, will be presented May 23 at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum starting at noon.The three finalists and coaches will be on hand and the winner will be announced at the event.  Proceeds benefit the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum in Jackson, MS.  Tickets are $35 and can be obtained by calling the Museum at 1-800-280-3263.
