Danny Ray and Billie Sue Purvis of Yazoo City announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Johnston, to John Bright, son of James and Margaret Bright of Yazoo City.
Miss Johnston is also the daughter of the late James T. Johnston. She is employed at P & S Pharmacy, where she is manager.
The couple will exchange vows on May 2, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the bride’s parents’ home. Rev. Joel Collins will officiate the double ring ceremony.
A reception will follow at the bride’s parents’ home.
