HAROLD COKER

Charles Harold Coker, 48, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
Funeral services were Friday at Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Humphreys and Rev. Arli Frances officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Coker was born on Jan. 4, 1963 in Leflore County to Charles and Grace Coker. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and worked with the Yazoo County Road Department.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Coker Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Coker of Yazoo City; two daughters, Angel (Bobby) Horton and Ashley (Rob) Saxton, all of Yazoo City; mother, Grace Coker of Yazoo City; and seven grandchildren, Hanna Grace, Ashton, Ethan, Victoria, Slayton, Breanna and Emma Rae.
Serving as pallbearers were David Barrett, Quint Carver, Sammy Luke, Billy Fry, Glen Moore and Kenny Ables.

RICHARD HARVEY

Richard Arnold Harvey, 57, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
Funeral services were Friday at Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church with Ken Massey officiating. Woodfin Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangments.
Mr. Harvery was born in Vicksburg to the late Oscar and Elese Breazeale Harvey. He was a member of Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church and graduated from Mississippi State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was owner and broker of Priority Partners Realty Co. Mr. Harvey was a six sigma black belt and had a love for motorcycles and always had dreams of living in the mountains.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Suggs Harvey; daughter, Amy Harvey of Nashville, Tenn.; son, Michael Harvey of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sisters, Ann Wheeless of Vicksburg and Dale Graves of Riverview, Fla.; brothers, Bill Harvey (Amanda) of Madison, John Harvey of Smyrna, Tenn. and Thomas Harvey of Brandon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Student Union at Mississippi State University, the Alzheimer’s Association or the Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Building Fund.  

NONA SCARBOROUGH

Nona Blanche Scarborough, 79, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at King’s Daughters Hospital.
Funeral services were Friday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Jennings and Rev. Bryan Abel officiating. Burial followed at Concord Cemetery.
Mrs. Scarborough was born Jan. 14, 1932 in Yazoo County to Oscar Taylor Neely and Frances E. Barrett Neely. She was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Scarborough of Yazoo City; a daughter, Ann Saxon of Yazoo City; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Robert Stevens, Larry Calder, Lewis Williams, Ross Kent, David Chisolm and Todd Purvis.
