A six-week old girl is fighting for her life while her parents have been charged with felony child abuse.
In what Sheriff Thomas Vaughan describes as one of the most disturbing cases he has ever worked, William Strickland, 19, and Brittany Taggart, 18, are both charged with felony child abuse.
Strickland and Taggart, both of 125 Rodgers Road, were arrested after the infant was taken to University Medical Center in Jackson.
