Matt Peaster and Corley McGraw were two of several high school students from Yazoo City who recently spent their spring break in Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras.
Peaster and McGraw gave their testimony to the Yazoo Lions Club last week on their experience in Central America. They participated in a mission team that went in to a dreadfully impoverished area in Honduras and helped to revive an abandoned old mansion as an orphanage for young Honduran girls living in areas that the locals refer to as “the dumps.”
The mansion, which was positioned on a mountain side, had once been owned by a wealthy family, and the views were amazing according to McGraw.
