Euell is the new man on campus

It’s only early April and with spring practice just weeks away, and Bernard Euell already has kids wanting to play football for Yazoo County.
The Panthers new head football coach was officially approved by the school board last week, replacing Matt Williams who has been  head coach since 2007. Yazoo County Athletic Director Michael Tardy says Euell has the championship pedigree to get the football program turn around.
“Everywhere he’s gone, they’ve either won a championship or competed for one,” he said. “I know our program is a few years away, but he’s got championship experience and I think he understands how to build a program.”
