Jig Tying Seminar

Special to The Herald
It is not necessary to be a skilled craftsman to make your own fishing lures. Making lures is an enjoyable hobby, especially during the long winter months.
On Saturday, June 12, Gwin Jackson will present a program at the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery demonstrating the different stages of tying hand-made jigs from hook to final product. The program begins at 1:30 p.m.
The NMFH is located off I-55 at Enid Exit 233 east and the program is free with the price of admission.
For more information about this program, and future events, call 662-563-8068 or http://home.mdwfp.com/NMFH/.
