Indians bested by Clinton, finish second in YC Invitational

Yazoo City avenged a loss to Riverside Saturday earning them a second place finish in the three team tournament after falling to number 15 ranked Clinton 9-6.
The Indians found ways to score runs and defeated Riverside13-3. Yazoo City had at least one run in five of the six innings they were at the plate, despite being outhit 11-10. The Indians scored three runs in the bottom of the first to take a 3-1 lead.
Riverside cut the lead to one in third before shutting out the Indians in the bottom half. Yazoo City would go on to score nine unanswered to get the win.
