Disappointment and frustration took hold during Monday's meeting of the Yazoo City Board of Mayor and Aldermen after Mayor McArthur Straughter’s announcement.
Straughter told the aldermen that the city had been turned down to receive $1 million to be used in the construction of the Willie Morris Parkway.
