Local chapter kicks off National JA Week

Special to The Herald

The hard work goes on year-round, but during the first week of April each year, the Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City pauses to say thanks to the community for another great year.
It has been a busy yet successful year packed with service to families and children through several projects that include everything from donating free books to local students to distributing care baskets to stocking a family with new furniture after the deadly April tornado last year.
