Bria Williams makes a play to first during last week’s game against Florence. Bria Williams makes a play to first during last week’s game against Florence. The Yazoo County Lady Panthers quest for the softball postseason continued last week with another four inning victory, 16-1 over Forest in front of their home fans.

The Lady Panthers move to 8-6 on the season as they get set to start district play Thursday on the road against former back-to-back state champion Cleveland.
