Mavericks track off to solid start

JACKSON – Manchester Academy’s varsity and junior varsity boys and girls track teams have gotten off to a good start in March under new head coach Adam White with two meets in the books.

The Mavericks and Lady Mavericks had several first place victories against several AAA schools in meets at Jackson Academy and Jackson Prep.

Although the varsity girls team has just a handful of girls, all of which are competitive, White thinks the other teams have a shot at making it to state.

“Both JV teams and the high school boy’s teams are looking pretty good,” he said.
