EARLINE THORNHILL


Earline McBeth Thornhill, 64, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at home.
Funeral services were Friday at the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Butler and Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Thornhill was born Nov. 20, 1946 in Picayune to Earl and Selma Loveless McBeth. She was an LPN and a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Thornhill of Yazoo City; three daughters, Carol Thornhill Porter, Diane Smith (Steve) and Donna Posey (Parrish), all of Yazoo City; mother, Selma McBeth of Yazoo City; two sisters, Sue Guillot (Lones) of Yazoo City and Nancy Duell (Junior) of Yazoo City; two brothers, Buddy McBeth (Margaret) of Denham Springs, La. and Steve McBeth of Conway, Ark.; and five grandchildren, Morgan Posey, D’Ray Porter, Cody Porter, Steven Smith and Brooks Posey.
Serving as pallbearers were Tommy Harper, Chance May, Roger Carpenter, Billy Brewer, Randy McCormack and Mark Peeples.
