The Indians took home the first place trophy last season.
Looking for the their season-best fourth straight victory, the Indians found themselves trailing 4-0 after just two innings, working starting pitcher Demarcus Mahone with a pair of walks and singles.

The Indians tied the game in the third inning highlighted by a three run double from Sam Campbell to clear the bases.
The game remained scoreless until the seventh thanks in part to Riverside pitcher Tre Hobbs who struck out 10
After loading the bases in the bottom of the seventh, Riverside hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score the walk-off run.

Mahone earned the loss on the mound after pitching 6.1 innings and giving up six hits and five runs. He struck out two batters. Mahone finished with a pair of hits.
Coming off their second straight win over state power Vicksburg last week, the Indians shutdown the Shaw Eagles to the tune of 16-0, their second highest runs total of the season in the first game of the tournament.
