YCREP meets with district director

The first meeting of the year for the Yazoo County Retired Education Personnel was held in February at the D.D. Waiver building.
Barbara Moore, president of the YCREP, presided the meeting. Dot Meeks gave the secretary’s report, and Clementine Davis gave the treasurer’s report.
An update was presented by Eugene Durman Jr., district director IV from Vicksburg. The update concerned membership, finances, legislation and Pers information.
The Mississippi Retired Education Personnel state meeting was held March 8 in the R & D Center, ETV Auditorium in Jackson, with a number attending from Yazoo County.
