Kathy Plunkett Smith and Jeremy McCullum of Yazoo City are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, X’Zanthea Plunkett, to Jeremy McCoy, son of Evelyn McCoy and Jammie Lee McCoy.
Miss Plunkett is the granddaughter of Myrtle Plunkett of Yazoo City.
McCoy is the grandson of Clinton and Nancy Washington.
The bride will be  escorted by her father, Jeremy McCullum.
Terrance Freeman will be the soloist who  will perform during the ceremony.
La Shundra Plunkett, sister of the bride, will serve as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Erielle Mack, Shontria McCoy, Jamie McCoy, Sheena Henderson and Donee McCallister.
Jeremy McCoy Jr. will serve as the ringbearer.
Jammie Lee McCoy, the groom’s father, will serve as the best man. Groomsmen will be Sam Carter, Willie Hubbard, Dustin Wadford, Larry Edwards and Maricus Plunkett.   
The couple will exchange vows in a 3 o’clock ceremony on April 2 at Chapel Hill M.B. Church in Yazoo City with Rev. Sam Washintgon officiating the ceremony.
