Yazoo City’s Jalin Edwards tries to make a tag on a Ridgeland player in Thursday’s 12-0 loss to the Titans in district action. Dropping a routine fly-ball is every outfielder’s nightmare.

With runners on first and second, Steve Scott came to the rescue after his fly-ball to right field was lost in the sun allowing the game tying and winning runs to score giving the Indians a 6-5 win over Vicksburg at home Saturday.

The victory capped off a tough week for the Indians (4-3, 0-2) after dropping a pair of district games to Ridgeland Thursday and Friday. 

Yazoo City is 2-0 against the Gators this season.
