MADDEN – Manchester Academy had their three game winning streak snapped Monday following a 9-6 loss to Leake Academy. The Mavericks fall to 4-2 on the young season.
The visitors squeezed out a pair of runs in the first inning, before Leake pounded out five runs in the second inning for a three run advantage. The Mavericks had scattered four runs in the third and fifth innings but not enough to get the win as the Rebels plated four runs of their own to retain the advantage.
