BROOKHAVEN - The Wolfpack rallied from nine strokes back to capture the Co-Lin Invitational at Brookhaven Country Club.
Co-Lin was tied with East Mississippi after shooting a 315 in the first round held at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. They shot a final round of 299 for a two-day total 614 two strokes ahead of second place finisher Mississippi Gulf Coast (320-296-616).
Finishing in third place was East Mississippi (315-299- 619). The Jones Bobcats, the leader after the first round (306), shot a 314 today finishing in fourth at 620. Rounding out the field were Northwest (317-307 – 624), Hinds (323-304 – 627), Northeast (331-302 – 633), East Central (334-310 – 644), Itawamba (341-323 – 664), and Holmes (347-361 – 708).
Individually, Co-Lin's Bennett Ruschewski finished tied for second place at 151 (77-74) and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Keaton Stamps finished tied for sixth at 152 (79-73).
Other Co-Lin scores include Colby Woodward  (79-74 - 153), Justin Danise (80-78 - 158), Berry Givens (87-76 - 163), David Nichols (87-81 - 168), and Ben Goff (91-87 - 178).
