Daniel Haralson, who has been praised by many local employers for his work helping Yazooans find jobs they are qualified for, recently learned that he will be transferred to Jackson as the Yazoo WIN Job Center closes.By JAMIE PATTERSON
Only two weeks after news of the inmate work center closing in Yazoo, the city will take another hit with the closure of the local WIN Job Center.
The job seekers who visited the center for employment needs will now have to travel to Canton, Jackson or Vicksburg.
“I don’t think people realize how many people use our services here,” said Daniel Haralson, local office manager. “We have about 1,200 to 1,300 people a month come through our doors. It was convenient, a one-stop center.”
