They offered love and fellowship back to the community they serve.
The Gifts of Love basket ceremony was held Monday morning at the Yazoo County Courthouse.
Deputies and other county officials gave away free baskets filled with gifts, food and other tokens of love to families within Yazoo County.
“This is such a blessed occasion,” said Nancy Hudson, mistress of ceremonies.

With national recognition and several honors within the equine circuit, Christy Harris is quick to give all the credit to her beloved horse.
“She is the real star,” she said, looking over photographs of her beautiful Palomino.
Especially now that the duo have earned more bragging rights, Harris feels like the two were meant to be together.

Harris and her horse, Hollywood Strip Girl, recently won the Novice amateur reining title at the 2012 Nutrena AQHA East Novice Championship in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
